The iShares Barclays Agency Bond Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the agency sector of the U.S. government bond market as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. Agency Bond Index. The Barclays Capital U.S. Agency Bond Index measures the performance of the agency sector of the U.S. government bond market and is comprised of investment-grade native-currency U.S. dollar-denominated debentures issued by government and government-related agencies, including the Federal National Mortgage Association ("FNMA" or "Fannie Mae"). The Underlying Index includes both callable and non-callable agency securities that are publicly-issued by U.S. government agencies, quasi-federal corporations, and corporate and foreign debt guaranteed by the U.S. government.
