The NASDAQ Toolbar Buttons
The Toolbar provides a one click link to the NASDAQ.com web site.
The ability to enter and retrieve quotes on Stocks, Mutual Funds or Options at
the click of a single button [GO] and more.
The NASDAQ.com homepage can be accessed by clicking the NASDAQ logo in the
toolbar or clicking
on the dropdown menu next to the logo and selecting "Home". From this
dropdown you can access "My Nasdaq", your customizable homepage for
NASDAQ.com or "Login" to Enhanced Content using your
Microsoft.net Passport password.

Using the "Toolbar Options" you can changes colors in the toolbar and
turn the ticker on and off. The NASDAQ Toolbar can be uninstalled from
this dropdown menu. |

To the right of the three symbol entry boxes and the [GO] button is the second
dropdown menu which provides access to quotations retrieval features for
Stocks, Funds and Options. Using a checkbox you can obtain "FlashQuotes",
"InfoQuotes", "Summary Quotes" or obtain
"Charting" information for the entered symbols.
About the FlashQuote - FlashQuotes provides quotes for up to 10 of your favorite U.S. stocks, mutual
funds or options. It’s quick and to the point, providing investors with the
securities’ Last Sale, Net Change and Volume.
About the InfoQuote - An investor who wants richer detail may request
longer quotes using the advanced display which provides Last Sale, Net Change,
Today's High, Today's Low, Best Bid, Best Ask, Volume (for the day), Previous
Close, the Market the Issue is listed on (Nasdaq, NYSE or Amex), and the stock
type (Common, Preferred etc.). Included with this data are links to much more
extensive information about the items selected. Mutual funds and Options may
also be quoted from this page.
About the Summary Quote - The Summary Page provides a means by which stocks may be quoted on a single page
similar to the InfoQuotes, but by navigating through a symbol list in the quote
specific navigation and data entry box. This list is user definable and may be
added to and updated at any time. The quote data is provided to the user in a
single column with the most important and frequently accessed information
presented first. An intraday chart for the security along with volume data is
also provided at the bottom of the display.
This dropdown also provides links to Additonal Content on NASDAQ.com. The Additonal Content are links to Market News, Most Active stocks, Market Activity
for all Markets, Extended Trading information, Market Summary, Guru Analysis, and Mortgage Select for information.

The third dropdown provides controls for the NASDAQ Toolbar Ticker. From
this dropdown you can pause, slow, run the toolbar ticker at normal or fast speeds.
