2008 has been a huge year for adding features to the NASDAQ.com site. New features include:
- NASDAQ Last Sale - Real-time trade information from the NASDAQ Market Center.
- European Last Sale (ELS)- ELS is designed to provide real-time, intraday trade data from NASDAQ OMX’s European markets.
- 5 Stock Comparison- Using our color coded page, to quickly compare your favorite stock to 4 other top stocks in its sector. Alternatively you can easily make changes to the symbols to compare any NASDAQ, NYSE, or AMEX stock.
- In Focus articles- In Focus provides you quick overview of the Top Business, Financial and Economic Headline for each day.
- Updates to our Personal Finance Section- New content is being added everyday, past updates include centers for Small Business and Credit Card tools.
In addition to new features, we also strive to be the most innovative site for stock quote navigation.

Stock Comparison Tool
On October 8th, 2008 we added the Stock comparison tool to the site. See DELL's Stock Comparison page – Using our color coded page, to quickly compare your favorite stock to 4 other top stocks in its sector. Alternatively you can easily make changes to the symbols to compare any NASDAQ, NYSE, or AMEX stock.
Display NASDAQ Last Sale (NLS) Trade reporting
On September 5th, 2008 we added the lists of NASDAQ Last Sale (NLS) Trades. See DELL's NLS trade reporting page – The NASDAQ Last Sale Intraday Trade History Report shows real-time time and sales data for all of your favorite U.S. stocks (listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX). It provides investors with the securities' NASDAQ Last Sale price, trade time, and NASDAQ Volume each day in real time, from market open to market close.
20 Most Active and more OTCBB stock support
On September 4th, 2008 we expanded the most active page to 20 stocks per group. This enables you to get a much better view into the market activity for a given day. See NASDAQ's Most Active page
– In addition we expanded the number of OTCBB stocks we allow you to view. In the past we had very strict filtering that didn't allow you to see OTCBB stocks that hadn't traded for more than sixty days. See APVE's Stock Quote page
Option Monster news, Thermal Map of active options and education content
On August 1st, 2008 our option center has been expanded to include news from OptionMonster.com. The Thermal Map of active options gives you a quick snapshot of the "Hot List", and allows you to drill-in to "Index Action", "Index Intensity", and "Biggest Trades". Visit our Option Center today.
In Focus news and headlines
On July 7th, 2008 we added the In Focus news and headlines. Read the In Focus story of the day. The "In Focus" content gives a quick recap of some of the most relevant and topical issues.
Enhanced our Google Search Feature
On July 8th, 2008 we enhanced our Google search to help you better find content on the site. Search results for "NASDAQ Holiday" schedule .
Change Dynamic update to refresh every 7 seconds
In an effort to improve data updates and we changed the dynamic update to refresh every 7 seconds On the Apple, Inc's stock quote page: Select the "on" link to enable the 7 second updates.
