Monitor your investments right on your desktop.
The Market Ticker includes quotes, net change, percent change for NASDAQ, AMEX, NYSE, and OTCBB stocks; updates to key market
indices, most active lists for NASDAQ, NYSE and AMEX — all based on your personal selections; and the top 10 news headlines.
Updates automatically every three minutes, and can be sized to fit your screen.
After you complete your selection the ticker opens a new, independent window that can be moved around on the screen and resized.
The delayed data displayed in the ticker is updated every three minutes for as long as the ticker is open. If you are unsure of the
last time the ticker refreshed you can click the "Update" link and it will do so automatically. Bookmark this page so you can launch
the ticker quickly in the future.
It is simple to install.
The Market Ticker is a Java applet and is optimized for Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers versions 4.0 and above.
If you have never run the ticker in your current browser, the first thing you will see is a set of menus that allow you to
select your stocks, most active lists and indices. You can include a total of 50 stocks, most active lists for NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX
and 10 indices. Please note: if you are using a Macintosh, you may
not be able to run the ticker. We are aware of the problem and are working to get it fixed.
Easy to make changes.
If you have previously run the program the ticker should appear immediately
and display your most recent configuration. If you wish to change the configuration
click the "Configure" link. The configuration is saved in a "cookie" within your
browser. If the configuration you defined last time was not saved it could be
due to one of several things relating to the way your computer handles cookies.

Once the ticker is running you can use your browser for other things but, when
you close your browser windows, the ticker will terminate. The direction and speed of the ticker can
be changed by clicking the directional controls with your mouse.
Detailed information is just a click away.
Clicking on the stock or index information will launch the InfoQuote page for that
security or index in a new browser window. Clicking on the news headline will launch
a new browser window with the full text of the story. To visit the home page of
NASDAQ.com, click on the NASDAQ logo.
