Colon Cancer Awareness Foundation President Rings the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell
March 25, 2009 - Colon Cancer Awareness Foundation
About this Marketsite Event:

Julie Clowes, President of the Colon Cancer Awareness Foundation, presides over the Closing Bell to raise awareness for the Fifth Annual Scope It Out 5K on Sunday, March 29, 2009.

About Colon Cancer Awareness Foundation:

The Colon Cancer Awareness Foundation (formerly Charles A Kraenzle Colon Cancer Foundation) is an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to promoting awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of routine screenings. One way we do this is through the annual Scope It Out 5K Run/Walk for Colon Cancer Awareness in Washington DC and Inverness FL.

About Colon Cancer

Colon cancer is one of the most preventable - but least prevented - of all cancers. Colon cancer screening can find precancerous polyps - abnormal growths in the colon or rectum - so that they can be removed before turning into cancer. Screening also helps find colorectal cancer at an early stage, when treatment often leads to a cure.
