About Musicians On Call (MOC):
Musicians on Call (MOC) was founded in 1999 with the mission of bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. To date, volunteers have played for over 125,000 people. Musicians On Call continues its mission through room-to-room hospital performances by both local musicians and national celebrities, and its CD Pharmacy and Project Playback programs.
February 24, 2009 marks the organization's 5th annual Benefit Concert & Auction at New York city's Hard Rock Cafe. Grammy award winning recording artist, James Taylor will headline the event with an exclusive performance of both his classic songs as well as tracks from his latest album Covers. www.musiciansoncall.org
