NASDAQ's new data product facilitates the free and widespread distribution of real-time intra-day trade data via the Internet and other electronic mediums. With NASDAQ Last Sale, NASDAQ has become the first U.S. stock exchange to expedite the broad electronic circulation of real-time data to millions of investors. NASDAQ Last Sale began providing real-time data immediately upon filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

NASDAQ Last Sale also enables firms to create dynamic stock tickers, portfolio trackers and time/price graphs products for public use. NASDAQ Last Sale facilitates the creation of investor tool kits by encouraging firms to display data next to information produced by NASDAQ Market Velocity and Forces. Velocity and Forces are innovative data products that provide levels of pre-trade interest and market activity in NASDAQ stocks and indicates buy and sell directions in market momentum.
