
The Women's Sports Foundation, founded by Billie Jean King in 1974, will celebrate this year the 35th anniversary of the Battle of the Sexes, in which King beat Bobby Riggs, and the opening of the Billie Jean King International Women's Sports Center -- the only comprehensive museum space dedicated to the female athlete.
Founded in 1974 by Billie Jean King, the Women's Sports Foundation is a national charitable educational organization seeking to advance the lives of girls and women through sports and physical activity.
