Founded in 2005, High Water Women Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization with over 2000 members. High Water Women channels volunteer and financial resources from senior executive women within the hedge fund and other investment communities to charities serving women and children, primarily in the New York City area. High Water Women supports philanthropies, which focus on education, alleviation of family homelessness, at-risk teens, young women's health, and the economic empowerment of women in New York City and abroad. Some of High Water Women's projects include raising money for partner organizations, organizing mentor programs to help the next generation of senior women, facilitating volunteer and Board membership opportunities, holding information sessions to acquaint members with various charitable programs, and educating members on topics such as not-for-profit board responsibilities and tax-effective philanthropy.
