About this Marketsite Event:
Northern Ireland First Minister, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Ian Paisley and Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness preside over the opening bell.

Dr. Paisley and Mr. McGuinness will be undertaking a series of engagements in New York and Washington, including meetings with many leading political and business figures, to promote Northern Ireland's economy, and the forthcoming economic conference which is to take place in Belfast in May 2008.

The visit to New York will include meetings with Mayor Michael Bloomberg and leaders of the business community from across a variety of sectors.

The Washington leg of the trip will see Ministers visit Capitol Hill where they will have discussions with leading members of the House and Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley.

The visit will conclude with President Bush welcoming the Ministers to the White House.
