
The New America Alliance (NAA) is a 501(c)(6) organization of American Latino business leaders committed to leading the process of Latino empowerment and wealth-building by expanding the forms of capital most crucial for economic advancement -- economic capital, human capital and philanthropy. NAA members believe that strategies to enhance these forms of capital must include many approaches. One approach that American Latino business leaders are uniquely capable of leading is investment in the Latino community through coordinated philanthropy and public and private strategic collaboration.
The New America Alliance Institute (the "Institute") is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization of American Latino business leaders united to promote the well-being of the American Latino community by focusing its efforts on enhancing human capital, education and strategic philanthropy to promote the advancement of the American Latino community and to improve the quality of life in the United States.
Co-founded in 1999 by Henry Cisneros and Raul Yzaguirre, NAA is comprised of over 125 prominent American Latino entrepreneurs and business leaders who are committed to giving back to the community. While committing substantial financial resources to the organization, NAA members also commit considerable time, provide access to their networks and exert their influence to achieve the goals of the organization.
