Gentium operates independently as a research facility and production plant for drug substance pharmaceuticals in Villa Guardia, near Como, Italy.

Gentium(tm) has developed a new approach focusing R&D on drugs that could be useful in the treatment of rare diseases. We develop relationships with industrial and academic institutions to combine our pioneering research expertise with these institutions.
