Sun American Bancorp currently has 15 branch banks in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Sun American Bancorp recently completed the acquisition of Beach Bank of Miami and Independent Community Bank in Tequesta, Florida. Sun American Bank has grown from $40 million in assets in 2002 to over $600 million at the end of the first quarter of 2007.
