Security Traders of New York, Inc.

Founded in 1937, The Security Traders Association of New York, Inc. (STANY) is a professional trade organization that works to improve the ethics, business standards and working environment for members, who are engaged in the trading of securities in the New York metropolitan area. With a membership of 1,200 trading professionals, STANY is the largest affiliate of the Security Traders Association (STA). In turn, STA, with 6,000 members, is the largest organization of its kind in the world.

Together STA and STANY are committed to being the leading advocates of policies that foster investor trust, professional ethics and marketplace integrity and to providing programs that support education, capital formation and marketplace innovation.
