Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (Nasdaq:CTSH), a leading provider of IT and business process outsourcing services, rings the NASDAQ opening bell remotely from the Company's Chennai, India techno-complex on March 5th at 9:30 a.m. (EST). In addition, NASDAQ, Cognizant and Rajiv Khanna, President, India-America Chamber of Commerce will co-host a reception from the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square where the live Opening Bell from India will be viewed.

The NASDAQ Opening Bell ceremony is displayed from NASDAQ's seven story Tower and broadcast studio in Times Square.

The Opening Bell is a ceremonial event that represents The NASDAQ Stock Market's virtual market model. As a result, NASDAQ can be opened from any location bringing together investors and market participants from around the world to mark the beginning of the trading day
