Brother Anthony E. D'Adamo, Executive Vice President of the Boys' Towns of Italy, presides over the closing bell to celebrate the Company's initial public offering on NASDAQ.
Founded in 1945 by Monsignor J.P. Carroll Abbing, Boys' Towns of Italy began with the mission of helping homeless, hungry children and orphans of war to develop into productive, responsible citizens. Today, the Boys' Towns of Italy, with their well-known method of self-government, offer a "chance in life" to needy children from all parts of the globe with no distinction on the basis of nationality, race or religion. On March 30th, Boys' Towns of Italy will celebrate its 62nd annual gala, where Grammy award winner Patti LaBelle will be honored.
