Patrick Cavanagh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Williams Controls, Inc., presides over the closing bell in celebration of St. Patrick's Day on March 17th.

Williams Controls returns to NASDAQ after being de-listed in 2001 when the company was facing bankruptcy. Today, the 70-year-old company is posting record profits and earnings, fueled by strong international growth in the heavy truck, bus and off-road vehicle markets as the world moves to tougher emission standards. In fiscal 2006, Williams' business in Asia was up 78 percent. This year, the company is doubling production and employment in China and planning a facility in India to meet growing customer demand. Tougher emissions standards for off-road vehicles in North America and Europe are also driving growth, complementing Williams' strong base of NAFTA business. Williams Controls' stock is up 30 percent since it began trading on NASDAQ October 9, 2006.

Williams Controls is a leading global designer and manufacturer of Electronic Throttle Control Systems (ETC) for the heavy truck, bus and off-road markets. The company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and currently employs more than 200 people worldwide at locations in North America, Europe and Asia. For more information visit www.wmco.com.
