Kati Marton, Author, Activist and IWHC Board Chair; Elizabeth Jennings, IWHC New Leadership Council Co-Chair; and Monica Carrillo, IWHC Partner and Director, Center for Afro-Peruvian Studies & Advancement presides over the closing bell to raise awareness about the efforts of the International Women's Health Coalition.

The International Women's Health Coalition (IWHC) promotes and protects the health and rights of women and girls worldwide. For 23 years, IWHC has uniquely positioned itself to bridge two worlds -- global movements for women's and young people's health and human rights, and governments and global institutions that control health policies and budgets. We invest in brave, skilled women and youth leaders as they develop vision, skills and organizations; partner with them to build consensus among multiple stakeholders and constituencies; and, together, advocate with governments and international agencies to achieve our vision.

We envision a world where women are free from discrimination, sexual coercion, and violence; where they make free and informed choices on sexuality and reproduction; and where health information and services are accessible to all.
