Moving into its fourth decade in 2007, the "Mrs. America Organization" has evolved to become a year-round "lifestyle brand" -- a celebration of Americana, and indeed, a microcosm of the 65-million married women of America. These "real women" -- "America's greatest natural resource" -- accomplished, high-caliber, attractive, youthful, contemporary leaders from all 50 states plus District of Columbia (average age 31) -- are attorneys, business executives, educators and much more. And many are Moms!

State competitions, under the direction of independent directors, a special network of respected community and business leaders, are conducted to determine the "Mrs. America" State Titleholders who'll compete at the national level. The original "Mrs. America" event (which began in 1938) was reorganized in 1977 by David Marmel to feature a more contemporary format designed to attract young married women.
Network television home of the "Mrs. America Organization" is WE-TV: Women's Entertainment Network (www.we.tv) which televises the special reaching 60 million households nationwide with each broadcast creating hundreds of millions of positive impressions! The 2006 Mrs. America TV Special, which premiered Sept. 23 on WE-TV -- has already been televised seven times -- with more airdates to come! Last year's 2005 Special was seen 12 times on WE-TV! For more information, please visit the "Mrs. America" website -- www.mrsamerica.com.
