One year ago, Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDNS), the leader in global electronic-design innovation, became the first dual-listed company to move to a sole listing on the NASDAQ Stock Market. In celebration of this one-year anniversary, Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (CDNS) will ring the NASDAQ opening bell live from their San Jose, California headquarters. Seven companies have switched from the NYSE to the NASDAQ since 2005. The ceremony will be simultaneously showcased live on NASDAQ's seven-story Tower in Times Square, New York. The Opening Bell is a ceremonial event that represents The NASDAQ Stock Market's virtual market model. As a result, NASDAQ can be opened from any location bringing together investors and market participants from around the world to mark the beginning of the trading day.
