Ofer Gneezy, President & CEO of iBasis, Inc. (IBAS) presides over the closing bell to celebrate its listing on the NASDAQ.

Founded in 1996, iBasis (Nasdaq:IBAS) is one of the largest carriers of international phone calls in the world. Using its global voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) infrastructure and the Internet, iBasis is an integral player in the growth of Internet calling services from emerging providers like Yahoo! and Skype. The company recently announced an agreement with the Dutch national carrier Royal KPN N.V. to combine KPN Global Carrier Services into iBasis. Upon completion of the transaction later this year, iBasis will be one of the five largest international wholesale carriers in the world, having grown its international voice traffic from zero to the size of AT&T's international traffic in just 10 years.
