Thomas H. Meeker, President and CEO of Churchill Downs Inc., rings in the start of Kentucky Derby week festivities remotely from The Kentucky Derby racetrack making this the first remote opening bell from the Kentucky Derby. Churchill Downs will also be celebrating the 132nd running of its famed 'Run for the Roses' and commemorating its 13th year as a publicly listed company on The NASDAQ Stock Market.

Churchill Downs bugler Steve Buttleman will play horse racing's traditional "Call to the Post" just before the sound of a racetrack starting gate bell signals the beginning of trading promptly at 9:30 a.m. EDT. The Opening Bell ceremony will be simultaneously displayed at the NASDAQ MarketSite from NASDAQ's premier broadcast studio in Times Square.
