Project Sunshine

Joe Weilgus, Founder, Amy Saperstein, Executive Director of Project Sunshine, and model Bar Rafaeli preside over the closing bell to commemorate the Project Sunshine Annual Gala honoring Billy Macklowe on May 15th with Dionne Warwick performing.

Project Sunshine is a nondenominational, nonprofit that provides free services to children and families who are affected by medical illnesses. Project Sunshine's volunteers provide educational, recreational and social programs to children in hospitals and medical facilities nationwide as well as in Canada and Kenya. There are 150 Project Sunshine chapters in the US with 10,000 volunteers serving 100,000 children and families per year. Board members include Lillian Vernon, Dionne Warwick and Nancy Spielberg.
