Dr. N. Gerry House, President and CEO of the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA), presides over the closing bell to celebrate the opening of three ISA partner schools in NYC for the 2006-07 school year. ISA is also celebrating its recent grant, totalling $7,886,381, from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to create 12 small schools and small learning communities in NYC and elsewhere.
