Mr. Chen Feng, Chairman of Hainan Airlines Group Company Limited, presides over the opening bell. HNA Group is an aviation group with Business Units of Air Transportation, Airport Management, Hotel, Tourism and other related industries. Its subsidiary Hainan Airlines Co. Ltd. is the core enterprise of the Air Transportation Business Unit. With 108 operating aircrafts, it is the 4th largest carrier by fleet, providing passenger and freight air transportation as well as charter flight services. By the end of 2004, the total assets of the group reached over 5.9 billion USD with over 20,000 employees.
