The NIT Season Tip Off was begun in 1985 and quickly established itself as the nation's premiere early season collegiate tournament. The NIT field is comprised of 16 teams with early round action taking place throughout the country and culminates in the "World's Most Famous Arena," Madison Square Garden. The semi-final doubleheader is set to tip Wednesday, November 23rd, with games at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.The consolation game and championship takes place Friday with a 4:30 start.
