Marilou Martinez Stevens, Chair of the Board for New America Alliance (NAA), presides over the opening bell.

New America Alliance was formed by a group of successful Latino business leaders to support the advancement of Latino-owned companies and all Latinos in the United States by increasing access to political and economic capital and developing human capital at every level. Their fifth annual Wall Street Summit, to be held October 26-28, 2005, focuses on increasing access to markets and capital for Latino U.S. businesses, promoting the participation and influence of Latinos on our nation's corporate and pension fund boards, expanding the participation and influence of Latinos in federal and state financial institutions, and investing in the higher education of Latinos in the fields of business and finance.
