Judy Carter, Board Chair of America's Second Harvest -- The Nation's Food Bank Network, presides over the opening bell. America's Second Harvest is the nation's largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization, a national network of more than 200 regional food banks and food-rescue organizations that provide more than 2 billion pounds of food and grocery products to 50,000 local charitable agencies, which annually serve 23 million Americans at-risk of hunger. Also participating in the ceremony will be representatives from City Harvest and the Food Bank for New York City; Cassandra M. Pulley, President of the Sara Lee Foundation and Vice President of Public Responsibility for the Corporation; Juan Carlos Alto, President and CEO of The Dannon Company; and Steve Spinner, CFO, Performance Foods.
