The NASDAQ Stock Market is proud to welcome SIRIUS Satellite Radio [SIRI] to the market open to celebrate the achievement of exceeding its end-of-year target of 1 million subscribers in 2004. The company closed out 2004 with 1,143,258 million subscribers and expects to double that number is 2005. Operating from its corporate headquarters in New York City's Rockefeller Center, SIRIUS broadcasts over 120 digital-quality channels, including 65 channels of 100% commercial-free music, plus over 55 channels of sports, news and talk.
