About the Historical Prices Page
Get up to 10 years of daily historical stock prices and data for any time period you choose.
The default table is 5 day Open/High/Low/Close (OHLC) for an individual stock.
You can change the data displayed in the table by selecting from the "Timeframe" drop-down menu. This menu has pre-defined timeframes from 5 day to 10 years.
Charting elements available for display are Open/High/Low/Close (OHLC) for the periods covered, comparisons to the Nasdaq Composite, Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, DJIA and All Indices.
Data Definitions
- Timeframe
- The period of time displayed in the table. The shortest is 5 day and the longest is 10 years.
- Volume
- The closing daily official volumes represented graphically for each trading day.
Why Investors Care
Investors look closely at trends to make a judgment about the current and future direction of a stock. Reviewing the historical stock prices & data along with the total volume generated during the trading day in relation to the closing price for the day can assist in this process.
