Company Completes Installation and Begins Beta Test at Commercial Facility and Reschedules Investor Update for October 28, 2013
LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/11/13 --
IDS Industries, Inc. (OTCQB:IDST) announced today a key milestone in their progress in becoming a significant product solution in the quickly accelerating Energy Storage market. The Company has completed its first installation of its patent-pending integrated Battery Management and Charge Controller system (BMCCS) at a San Diego based dental office building. The Company is conducting its first commercial Beta test of the BMCCS in conjunction with Lithium-Ion based energy storage, which vastly outperforms present-day Lead Acid battery technology.
"The Company's proprietary technology enables the BMCCS to be integrated on one 32-bit micro-processor software platform providing a 'Smart & Simple' solution. This BMCCS will increase the life of the battery life while greatly simplifying the integration of energy storage into a variety of renewable energy sources including solar and wind based systems," said Scott Plantinga, the Company's CEO.
IDS Industries also announced that it has rescheduled its upcoming Investor Conference Call from this Monday, October 14, 2013 to October 28, 2013. The conference call and investor update will begin at the same time, 4:30pm EDT, just after market close. The meeting was changed due to conflict created with the Beta site install being 2 weeks early and another key announcement being detoured due to the temporary federal government shut down. The rescheduled Investor Conference Call on October 28, 2013 will include a progress report on the Beta site's performance.
