Former WebMD General Manager Clare Martorana and Former Sanofi Exec Kim Fox Join Everyday Health
NEW YORK, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyday Health, Inc. (NYSE:EVDY), a leading digital health and wellness company, today announced the expanded expertise of its senior leadership with the appointments of Clare Martorana as Executive Vice President of Consumer Health and Wellness and Kim Fox as Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Relations. These new additions to the team grow Everyday Health's deep bench of expertise in the digital and healthcare industries. Both professionals will help the company maximize its current strategic objectives, build on its success, and help capture the significant opportunity that lies ahead.
A pioneer in the transformation of how health information is delivered, experienced and perceived by consumers and healthcare professionals, Ms. Martorana will bring a new level of intensity towards attracting more consumers with higher levels of engagement in managing their health, elevating the Everyday Health brand, and working with sales to find new and incremental ways to monetize the platform and create better marketing solutions. She has led three online companies and, most recently, served as Senior Vice President, General Manager, and Editor-at-Large of the WebMD Network.

Ms. Fox joins Everyday Health from Sanofi Pharmaceuticals Corporation, where she served as Head of Communications for North America Pharmaceuticals. In this new role, she will be responsible for working cross-functionally and proactively to plan, direct and drive strategy for all communications across the organization and business units, as well as growing the Everyday Health brand and raising awareness for the company. She brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare communications supporting both US and global initiatives. Prior to Sanofi, Ms. Fox spent 8 years at Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation, and before that, worked at three public relations agencies.
