NASDAQ to Honor President Gerald Ford With a Two Minute Moment of Silence

New York, NY, December 27, 2006 — The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) will honor President Gerald Ford with a two minute moment of silence from 11:00 a.m. to 11:02 a.m. E.T. this morning. NASDAQ will request that market participants refrain from trading during this period.

In honor of President Ford, NASDAQ will broadcast a memorial message on the NASDAQ MarketSite Tower in Times Square during this time and throughout the day.
