New York, New York - May 1, 2006— Millicom International Cellular
S.A. to Join the NASDAQ-100 Index Beginning May 8, 2006 Millicom International
Cellular S.A. (NASDAQ:MICC) of Luxembourg, will become a component of the
NASDAQ-100 Index® (NASDAQ:NDX), the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted
Index (NASDAQ:NDXE) and the NASDAQ-100 Ex-Tech Sector Index (NASDAQ: NDXT)
prior to market open on Monday, May 8, 2006. Millicom will replace Pixar
(NASDAQ:PIXR). Millicom will also be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking
StockSM
(NASDAQ:QQQQ).

composition of the NASDAQ-100 Index.
