NASDAQ to Observe a Moment of Silence for Victims of
London Attacks


New York, July 07, 2005 — The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) will observe a moment of silence tomorrow morning July 8th, at 11:00 a.m. E.T. to express solidarity to the families of victims and those affected as a result of today’s attacks in London. NASDAQ will request that market participants refrain from trading during this period.

In memory of the victims, NASDAQ will run a memorial message on its MarketSite Tower in Times Square throughout the day.
