New York, N.Y. — The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) will observe a moment of silence tomorrow, April 4th, at 11:00 a.m. in memory of Pope John Paul II. NASDAQ will request that market participants refrain from trading during this period.

In honor of Pope John Paul II, NASDAQ will also air a memorial message on its MarketSite Tower in Times Square throughout the day.
