The NASDAQ Stock Market will be observing the events that took place on September 11, 2001.

| What: |
NASDAQ will ask market participants to refrain from trading activity between 11:00 a.m. and 11:01 a.m. on Friday, September 10th to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Also, throughout the day, NASDAQ will display on its Tower the American Flag, multiple images memorializing 9/11, and at 4:00 p.m. feature a special commemoration of the Tribute of Light in honor of the victims of September 11th.
On Saturday, September 11th at 8:30 a.m., The NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square will run the names of those who lost their lives, as well as the American Flag to pay further tribute to the fallen heroes of September 11th.
