| Media Opportunities: Russell Index Reconstitution June 25 and Use of NASDAQ's Closing Cross

Interviews and photo opportunities are available the morning of June 23, 2004 at the NASDAQ MarketSite, where a NASDAQ Market Open Ceremony will be held to commemorate Russell Investment Group's use of the NASDAQ Closing Cross in the annual reconstitution of Russell's 21 U.S. stock indexes on June 25. In addition, the Closing Cross will be used for NASDAQ-listed companies in the daily calculation of the entire family of Russell indexes, including the broad market Russell 3000® Index, the large-cap Russell 1000® Index and the small-cap Russell 2000® Index.
