CompuCredit Corporation to Join NASDAQ Financial-100
Index Beginning November 3, 2003
New
York, NY CompuCredit Corporation (NASDAQ:CCRT) of Atlanta,
Georgia, will become a component of the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index®
effective at the beginning of trading on Monday, November 3, 2003.
CompuCredit Corporation will replace Roslyn Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:RSLN),
which is scheduled to be acquired by New York Community Bancorp,
Inc.
With
a market capitalization of $851 million, CompuCredit Corporation
is a credit card company that uses analytical techniques to serve
consumers it believes to be underserved by traditional grantors
of credit. Credit cards marketed by CompuCredit are generally
issued by Columbus Bank and Trust Company under an agreement with
CompuCredit.
