(Nasdaq:DLTR), of Chesapeake, Virginia, will become a component of the Nasdaq-100 Index® (Nasdaq:NDX), effective at the beginning of trading Monday, June 3, 2002. Dollar Tree will also be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking StockSM (Amex:QQQ). Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. will replace Adelphia Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:ADLAE).
