The NASDAQ MarketSite includes a state-of-the-art digital broadcast studio that transmits business shows, such as CNBC’s Fast Money, and broadcasts approximately 100 live market updates each day by a host of media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business Network, CNN, New Delhi Television, Xinhua News Agency and other financial networks that reach millions of viewers around the world with up-to-the-second market news.

  Guests

The guest list is due at 12 noon the day before the event.

Due to space limitations, it is suggested that you invite no more than 50 people to attend the Closing Bell. You are welcome to invite whomever. We request that, if necessary, since the event occurs in a television studio with live broadcasts, and potential hazards such as wiring/cameras, adults are available to remove children from the studio to the Lobby should they cry or misbehave.  To that end, we ask that an adult accompany all persons under 18 years of age.

All guests, excepting minor children under the age of 18, should be prepared to present a viable state, local, or federal photo ID upon arrival. Once ID is shown, guests will be given a name badge and welcomed into the studio by security. For catering and security purposes, we require that you send NASDAQ the final guest list by noon the day before the Close, including names, titles, and affiliations of all guests.

  General Broadcast Studio Etiquette

Throughout the day, there are approximately 100 live broadcasts from the NASDAQ studio.  In order not to disturb these broadcasts and studio equipment, please be mindful of the following:

  • Switch off/turn to vibrate all beepers or cell phones
  • Turn off personal camera flash as it affects broadcasts and competes with on-site photographer
  • Keep voices to a normal tone; high-pitched sounds may reach the reporters microphones and interrupt their broadcast
  • Do not touch studio wall
  • Stay behind the stanchions until directed otherwise by event planner

  Attire

Proper attire for the Opening Bell is business or business casual.  Please no jeans or sneakers.

  Refreshments

Beverages will be set up in the studio at approximately 3:15 p.m.
