European Systemic Risk Council (ESRC)

Definition

A supra-national structure established to deal with cross-border aspects of financial stability in Europe post finanical crisis in 2008. ESRC monitors systemic risks (supervise the macro-prudential system) and address them through coordinated policy responses from EU member states.
