Highlights
State Street's index for confidence among institutional investors dropped to 72.8 in April from 77.2 in March with the components for Europe and America showing sharp weakness and Asia only mild weakness. The report said the decline in Europe may reflect concern that the region may not be "de-coupled" from the slowdown underway in the United States.
