Highlights
State Street's investor confidence index fell 7.5 points in September to 92.1, reflecting a month-to-month decline among institutional investors in North America. The report said appetite for risk among institutional investors, as compared to other market participants, was strong in late July and early August but has since returned to normal levels. The report said institutional investors have been a "steadying force" during the market upheaval.
