Highlights
MBA's purchase index was little changed in the May 23 week at 352.7, lifting the four-week average slightly to 366.2. The refinance index rose 8.9 percent to 2,013.5 with refinancing making up 46.1 percent of all applications. Mortgage rates moved up in the week with 30-year fixed loans rising 6 basis points to 5.96 percent.
