Retail sales weakened further in the Nov. 8 week, down 1.0 percent week-on-week for a year-on-year pace of only +0.4 percent. ICSC-Goldman warned underlying weakness will restrain sales throughout November. Retail sales for October will be released by the Commerce Department on Friday and are expected to show a rare third straight month of decline.
