Highlights
Growth in consumer spending at retailers held solid in the July 19 week, according to ICSC-UBS's same-store tally which shows a 0.1 percent week-to-week increase for a solid 2.5 percent year-on-year pace -- the strongest year-on-year pace since December. The report said a pull back in gasoline prices along with clearance sales helped boost results. Redbook is up next at 8:55 a.m. ET.
