Highlights
Store sales improved in the Feb. 23 week according to ICSC-UBS's count which shows a 0.5 percent week-to-week gain for a 2.3 percent year-on-year rate that's the best so far of 2008. The report attributed the gain to a successful Presidents' holiday weekend. Still the year-on-year rate is mild at best. Redbook is up next.
