ICSC-UBS reports a 1.1 percent week-to-week decline in same-store chain store sales, a steep fall that does not change the firm year-on-year pace of 2.9 percent. Data are for the Sept. 15 week. The report downplayed the significance of the week-to-week decline, calling sales mixed. Redbook is up later this morning.
