Highlights
Sales bounced back in the March 10 week, reversing unusual weather-related weakness in the prior week and helped by warm weather in the West. Sales were up 0.7 percent week-on-week at a year-on-year pace of 2.1 percent, 6 tenths higher in the week but still on the soft side. But the report expects sales to rise sharply in March which will benefit from this year's earlier Easter that will push sales into month-end. Retail sales data for February will be out in a few minutes.
